"A common girl"

It was the darkest phase of her life. The soul mate whom she waited for..for a long time was not "The one" any more. She felt aloof..consumed from within, she was afraid of her deepest darkest desires. She wanted to ruin "her" day. Her mind planned on strategies to destroy "her".

She was jealous,
jealous that "she" took her place.
jealous of all the attention "she" was getting, although, in her mind, she deserved it.
jealous, that "she" was getting "her" life settled, before she could even begin.
Jealous that "she" was wanted by them.

Jealous that even though she was in love, "she" was the one marrying the love of "her" life.

Jealous that "she" was happy. and afraid that she might never get her happy ending.

She prayed..prayed for solace and peace of mind, but nothing helped.

she had good heart, good humor, she cared. she loved. she laughed. she made others laugh.She was good with everyone. She had awesome friends. people loved her. She had warm nature and lovely smile.
She was amazing with her family too.

What went wrong???
NOTHING..
.its just that she was a COMMON GIRL.

The Rape Survivor!

She got up..perhaps she never slept..she lukd at the sky outside..beautiful and dark..sun was about to rise..bright in the sky..she smiled at the first light of the sun..something lit up..in her heart..a ray of hope..It was a new day!
She freshened up..made some breakfast..tea..went out to her job..as she entered the office..all faces turned towards her..she felt the gazes on her back..but she chosed to ignore them..instead she smiled..and exchanged pleasantries..she sat on her desk..and saw the newspaper..something broke in her heart..
She ran to the rest room..tried to control her tears..she succeeded!
The day passed by..she finished all her work..and went back home..she opened the door to an empty house..no voices..silence all around..she took a deep breath..trying to control her tears again..and succeeded again..she made some pasta..watched TV..den she went to bed..
All alone..she realised..no one to share her feelings..no one to tell the days stories..life was difficult..she cried herself to sleep..

She got up again..the shining rays of sun..gave her hope..again..and she went to work!

She was NOT a rape VICTIM..
She was a rape SURVIVOR!

Gender Equality!

They all talk about gender equality..do we have gender equality?? Is it equality, if the girls are allowed to do what dey wish to..i dont thnk so..

In my opinion, equality will not be achieved..untill the movies start promoting men in vest and underwear, rather than women.

Equality will only be achieved, when men get scared of walking alone at night.

It will only be achieved, when men walk in their vests on the road and girls whistle at them..when men wear their underwears and girls stare at their "thing"

It will only be achieved when, strip clubs hire men..and women pay to get a lap dance..

It will be achieved when these so called "comedy movies" stop portraying women as fools..instead they do it to men..and project them as sex objects..

That is when we can really say, that equality is bring achieved!!

Acceptance and Tolerance..

Dey say we are hindu or we are muslims..did you know that all religion preach one sermon..some might say "the sermon of love", perhaps true, but dats not what dis is about..today i write something different.. Something that will make us believe the true sanctity of our prayers..

I DARE the muslims to say OM, in the proper way, in the way dats its meant to be said..deep breaths and from.the bottom of your neck..in deep and loud voice..and eyes closed...wat do u feel??dis u feel an energy inside you??did you feel, as you breathed in, dat all your negativ energies, all your carbondioxides are coming out..and after sayng it..did u feel energised?? Well u did..if u said it in proper way..why do u thnk dat is?? You dnt belive in that..u r a muslim..............

Now as for my hindu frenz..i DARE u to do sajdah..in a proper way..the way its meant to be..and breath while u r in sajdah..n thnk about ur problems..ponder on it..find an easy way to get thru it..wat did u feel?? Did u feel relaxed..and patient..were u able to clear ur head??did sajdah help u reach a clarity..well it did..if u did ut d ryte way..why do u thnk dat is?? U dnt belive in dat..u r a hindu.........

The reason is that both the methods of praying are meant to help.the people gain satisfaction and patience..

Now ask urself..y dis discrimination???y this hatred..juz bcz i do sajdah n u say om..duznt make me ryte n u wrng..or vice versa..

While saying Pyaar and Mohabbat..your lips touch each other, even though for a short while..Do u know y??well..its because, for these two u need a partner..you need someone else..its a two person emotion..needs to be reverted back, if not... IT DIES!

While Ishq is above all this..you just adore someone or something...no returns..no expectations...you need any result..and u dnt need to prove it...it shows..in your eyes..and it LIVES forever!

Coins have two sides, we have learnt this since we were kids. Nobody told us, people do too..
We were so innocent as kids, we saw things black and white. There was no grey..but now there are like 50 shades of grey..
We saw people as good and bad, as friends and as foes. Now there are friends who are foes and foes who are friends.
There were cunning and cheats, now there are diplomats and double faced.
Tired of seeing diplomacy all around me.
Tired of people pretending to like each other, when they actually hate.
Tired of watching people put there watsapp status and fb posts, pretending that they care and like..while as soon as they turn around, they would do anything to bash their friends.

When you have an amazing start to your day..
when you get unexpected calls..
when you know, that you might not have million friends, but those you have are "the Keepers"..
When you feel, wanted by people around you..
When you know, that you have people who are praying for your well being, every moment..

When your colleagues surprise you, by announcing your birthday, in the middle of a conference..

That's when you know, that even though you might not have everything..but you did something right..
Something hauntingly beautiful..

Moments!

Since last one week, I was looking for inspiration..something to write about...many times I picked up my phone, started typing something or the other..but nothing felt right..

Fynally today I took a long deep breath, and decide to finally write something..
Moments..yes thats what I wanna write about..
Moments that just happen..
moments that you never plan..
moments when you laugh so loud that you can hear it..even after it has passed..
Moments..that make you cry and laugh at same time..
moments..when you see someones face..and tears come to your eyes..juz coz you love them so much..
moments..when you realise..you have so many people who love you..
Moments..when you just cant believe how many blessing you have..even though you are a grave sinner..
Moments..when your fantasy becomes reality..
Moments..when reality is so beautiful, that you dnt even think of fantasy..

I had so many such moments yesterday..they were all full of love, surprises, memories..fun..friendship..
They all made my birthday special..in one way or the other..
And most of all..I have a collection of moments..to remember...

Sirf tum!

कभी कभी मैं सोचती हूँ, क्यों ज़िन्दगी इतनी मुशकील सी हो गयी है। तम्हारे साथ गुज़ारे लम्हे क्यों मुझे परेशां करते हैं। सोचते सोचते ट्रेन का वो सफ़र याद आता है जिसमें मैं और तुम हसते हस्ते रो पड़े थे। जिसमें वो ग़ज़ल सुनते सुनते हमारा सफ़र कब कटा पता ही नहीं चला।
अजीब सी ख्वाहिशें हैं, हर करवट बदल सी जाती हैं। कभी तुम्हारा साथ, कभी तुम्हारी बातें और कभी तुम।
मौसम की तरह तुम्हारा बदलना, हस्ते हस्ते गुस्सा हो जाना, अपनी बातों से खुद ही पलट जाना, इन सब बातों की आदत से हो गयी है।
तनहा चलते चलते पलट जाती हु मैं जैसे तुमने आवाज़ दी हो, पलट के देखती हु तो सिर्फ तन्हाई दिखती है।
क्यों, आखिर क्यों ज़िन्दगी इतनी खली हो गयी है। और क्यों कोई तुम जैसा नहीं मिलता?

हाँ। आज मान लिया मैंने, मोहब्बत ही गयी है तुमसे..सिर्फ तुमसे :)

The end of The Road

Journey of life, starts at one end and ends at another end. And the traveller can see the end provided he/she keeps his/her eyes open.

But we tend to just see the crowd, the people, the disturbances, the small kaccha roads that are actually cuts, that juz make the journey longer. And we forget, that no matter what road we take, no matter how much we try to prolomg our journey, the end is certain and decided. We dont prolong our journey, we just take a even shorter road.

And when you realise that, that is when you actually bow down to God. You pray for success, not juz on this road, but the road hereafter. You pray for your fellow travellers. You pray for your loved ones. You pray for those who have already crossed the line from here to the after world. You pray for those who will come after you.

And that is when you actually prolomg your journey. That is when you find solace.
That is when you see the end of the road!
